INVENTORY CONTROL ASSISTANT - ST. CLOUD, MN
Pay: Up to $19 per hour

Right now Viking Coca-Cola is looking for an Inventory Control Assistant. This position at our St. Cloud distribution center will ensure the accurate recording and report of our St. Cloud inventory levels to ensure on time and in full deliveries to our customers, and branches.

The Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Prepares paperwork for the following: receiving reports for incoming loads, agency load transfers, Inner Plant Transfers (IPT) for all branches, etc.
- Monitors and verifies inventory movement such as product receipt, production line totals, shipment BOL's, and route returns using the Warehouse Management System.
- Audits the facility's inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management. Execute cycle counts of finished goods inventory and raw materials. Identifies close dated inventory and verifies FEFO.
- Lead the end month and end of year inventory counts.
- Informs management of claims with manufacturers or sellers when defective goods are received or found in inventory.
- Monitors returned product flow to ensure good/damaged product is accounted for, segregated and processed properly.
- Assists with demand planning, production scheduling, and ordering raw materials.
- Assists with inventory ordering when requested.
- Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Education or equivalent required
- 1-3 years' experience related to inventory control preferred
