CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT - FULL TIME REPORTS TO: CFO

American Crafts is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to undertake all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Job Duties:
Ensure timely collection of payments
Setting objectives for the account receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals
Monitoring processing of invoices
Ensuring timely collection of payments
Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports
Organize records of invoices, bills, and deposits
Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures
Support Accounts Receivable Clerks daily and train new team members
Ensure all team members follow the accounting principles
Job Requirements:
Proven work experience in accounts receivable and managing a team
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Good interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal skills.
Exemplary work ethic, integrity, and reliability are a MUST.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Team player who works productively with a wide range of people.
Problem-solving and analytical ability.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field (required)
Excellent computer skills

Experience:
The ideal candidate has 3+years of relevant experience
Proficiency with Excel
Experience with Sage100 (preferred)
