Associate Director of Operations

The Associate Director of Operations specializes in client service and supporting the financial advisor to ensure that their focus remains on building their business. They work closely with others on their team to provide ongoing support in operations, planning, service, and marketing. They act as a liaison between the home office, financial advisor, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain compliant client file folders
• Collect and input client meeting notes
• Conduct regular meetings with financial advisor
• Maintain financial advisor’s calendar and confirm appointments
• Compile meeting kits which includes all materials needed for the client meetings
• Manage the insurance underwriting process for clients
• Process, or collaborate with others to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests
• Process client service requests
• Assemble targeted feedlists to provide marketing support for financial advisor

Minimum Job Requirements

• 0-4 years financial service or insurance industry experience preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others
• Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action
• Ability to work both independently and on a team
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
