Job Description
The Shift Supervisor must ensure that all phases of the operation are maintained efficiently to minimize downtime and cost. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for general safety, housekeeping, fire, and accident prevention, and for reporting of all accidents and fires. An understanding of the technology of board production is important. THIS ROLE IS LIKE A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in the OSB Plant.
Here is what you will do:
- To achieve production levels by developing and directing a safe and efficient crew.
- Maintain high quality by constantly monitoring manufacturing processes.
- Minimize downtime by seeing that equipment is maintained.
- Achieve good company-member relationships.
- Minimize costs through efficient use of materials and human resources.
- Maintain an effective safety program within his/her department.
Here is what you will need:
- 3 years of experience in leading a team in a production capacity
- Recent experience grading lumber!!!!
