Position: Account Manager

Location: Virginia Beach, VA or Remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and agent partners understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities, expanding the client base and revenue streams.
• Manage the pricing activities of several of our key accounts and partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and smooth operations, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
• Prepare and present proposals, reports, and updates to clients and management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market changes, providing insights to enhance service offerings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or relevant field.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry, with a strong sales and account management background. At least 3 years of experience at a global freight forwarding company.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (CRM systems, MS Office, etc.).
• Flexibility for occasional travel, as necessary.
