Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Lead

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Travel: Minimal

Warehouse Location: Bloomington, IL (Central IL area)

Summary

To ensure all logistics at main warehouse are completed in an efficient and timely manner, and leading the support staff in an efficient manner to drive revenue and save costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Leading the afternoon warehouse team, organizing all inbound/outbound shipments
  • Organize racking for efficient pick allocations
  • Responsible for layout, cleanliness, loading procedures and overall service of warehouse
  • Recommendations for efficient space utilization and potential cost savings
  • Ensure proper support of the distribution team in regards to their inventory requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • De-stuffing and organization of inbound containers
  • Run all pick orders in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensuring 100% order accuracy on all outbound shipments and pick management
  • All sanitation schedules for the warehouse are completed
  • Warehouse KPI’s are met, including damage rate, load accuracy, and efficiency
  • Communicate damages and shortages in an efficient and timely manner
  • Responsible for warehouse inventory
  • Responsible for POS inventory management
  • Responsible for ensuring that all previous day load sheets are returned and completed in a timely manner

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising warehouse staff and overseeing warehouse functions and efficiencies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class C permit or driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Skilled in Microsoft excel
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of the sales team and provide solutions utilizing the operations department. Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Forklift Certification
  • 1 Year team management experience

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree in a related and/or equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of the beverage distribution market
