Location 9 Warehouse Material Handler

This is a 3rd Shift position which runs Sunday - Thursday from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Any potential candidate should have some flexibility to accommodate company needs.

Primary Function: A Location 9 Warehouse Material Handler must process incoming materials from manufacturing to designated areas in the warehouse with utmost accuracy.

Job objectives include the following:

• Must be able to verify correct counts of all material entering warehouse from final assembly
• Applicant must be able to effectively communicate with final assembly material handlers in order to resolve any discrepancies.
• Placement of material both physically and in SAP with consistent accuracy is required.
• Must work closely with shipping clerks and support daily shipment requirements
• Replenishment of component parts from the warehouse to main and final assembly
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment with a strong team focus
• Must be a self-starter that works efficiently and productively with limited supervision
• Applicant must be willing to learn other warehouse jobs roles for team support.

Job Knowledge/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate, with at least 6 months warehouse experience is required.
• Must be proficient with operation of forklifts, order pickers and turret trucks.
• Applicant must be able to identify all customer specific containers, and locate accordingly.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to research and correct inventory discrepancies is mandatory.
• Good attendance record is required
• A solid understanding of SAP inventory and movement transactions is required.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to communicate well with supervisors and team
• Weekend work and extended shift hours will be required as needed.

Physical Effort:

• Repeated lifting up to 50lbs, reaching, bending and walking are required with this position.
