Caregiver - Hiring Immediately!

Job Summary:
Senior Helpers, a leading home care company in the Lafayette area, is looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position that provides essential care and support to elderly clients in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients by helping them with daily tasks and providing companionship. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about senior care, reliable, and ready to start immediately.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $10 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Remind clients to take medication and help with medication management
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed
- Keep detailed records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervisor
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Senior Helpers team

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a caregiving role (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with personal care tasks and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to undergo training and continuing education as needed
- Must have a compassionate and patient demeanor
