Parts Counter Specialist

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Parts Specialist to join its team. Qualified individuals must have the ability to work within a team-oriented environment, be self-motivated, able to prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks at once. Excellent customer service and communications skills are essential. Highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to make customers a top priority are encouraged to apply. Experience with, or knowledge of Heavy Construction Equipment Parts Sales is desirable.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• First point of contact for all incoming phone sales orders and walk in customer’s parts needs.
• Looking up and ordering necessary parts as needed.
• Responsible for transfer of parts between branch offices.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of all parts.

In addition to the above stated major responsibilities, various special projects may also be assigned.

Required Skills:

• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Sales driven with a confident “Can Do attitude”.
• Must be able to work in both a team and independent environment.
• High School diploma

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Heavy Construction Equipment Parts.
• Knowledge of Aggregate business.
