Job Description

North American Truck & Trailer, Inc. in Custom Truck Equipment MN is currently seeking an experienced Exhaust Tech/Welder to join our team. As an Exhaust Tech/Welder, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and fabricating exhaust systems for various types of vehicles, including trucks and trailers. Additionally, you will be tasked with welding and performing other metalwork as needed.

• Palfinger Hook & Cable Lifts
• Bridgeport Manufacturing Refuse Bodies
• Parts for all Makes of Refuse Bodies
• Galfab Roll-Off Dumpsters
• Omaha Standard Service Bodies
• Several Lines of Dump Bodies
• Cranes & Crane Bodies
• Lift Gates
• Snow & Ice Control Products
• Hydraulic Front Wheel Drive Systems
• Force America Hydraulic Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair exhaust systems on trucks and trailers
• Fabricate custom exhaust components
• Perform welding and metalwork tasks
• Inspect and diagnose exhaust system issues
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and high-quality manner

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an exhaust technician and welder
• Strong welding skills, including MIG and TIG welding
• Knowledge of exhaust system components and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver's license
