The Pool Construction Foreman utilizes construction knowledge and construction processes to ensure pools are built and installed to the highest quality per building codes, municipality requirements, and Vizmeg Landscape’s expectations.

Here’s what your responsibilities will be:

• Supervise a team to ensure quality pool construction standards are met or exceeded throughout each phase of construction
• Responsible for layout and elevation of all pool projects
• Ensure that each project is completed either on time or early and within budget
• Maintain a good relationship with customers
• Oversee and work on landscaping projects, both commercial and residential
• Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure all company guidelines and procedures are met and exceeded
• 24/7 on-call for snow removal including weekend and holidays during winter months
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist with softscape tasks such as planting, seeding, topsoil applications, mulching and pruning
• Assist with hardscape tasks such as patio installations, deck installations, walls, concrete applications, irrigation and lighting
• Assist with creation of landscape features, such as flowerbeds, water features, ponds and fountains
• Prepare soil, loads and unloads materials and equipment as needed

Here is what our “Ideal candidate” looks like:

• Strong knowledge of concrete pool construction and local building codes
• Understanding of plumbing required for pool and spa
• Rebar and concrete work experience
• Tile installation experience
• Plaster finishing experience
• Heavy equipment experience
• 5 years of experience in pool construction and supervision
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills
• Driven to succeed with a “Get it Done” attitude
