Order Filler Overview:

Order Filler

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Fills shipping or transfer orders for finished goods from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications on sales slips, customers' orders, or other instructions.
  • May, in addition to filling orders and indicating items filled or omitted, keep records of outgoing orders, requisition additional stock or report short supplies to supervisor, and perform other related duties.

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Experience in military logistics procedures
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
  • Ability to obtain a NAC-I and a CAC
  • Able to operate forklifts and other machinery.
  • Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word.
  • Must be a self-starter who can provide excellent customer service.
  • 1 Year previous experience in warehouse, parts, supply chain, etc. is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must be able to properly communicate between departments.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.

Security Clearance:

SECRET Level Required

  • Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.
