This Accountant Position Features:

• Great Pay from $31 to $34 temp, or $70k to $75 when hired on as full time employee.

Immediate need for Financial Accountant for growing manufacturer. The Financial Accountant updates and maintains monthly reconciliations and assists Controller with the
month close, accruals, financial statements analysis and is a backup for payroll. Additionally, the Financial Accountant will participate in assigned and other tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have time management and organizational skills, be a team player and a strong attention to detail.
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close process
• Perform Monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Calculate and maintain monthly accruals
• Responsible for analyzing the general ledger for trends and unusual activity and reporting such items
to Controller
• Assist with sales commissions calculations and act as a backup for Payroll Specialist
• Monthly sales tax payment and quarterly sales tax reconciliation
• Responding to information requests, review financial statements and assisting with audits
• Assists the controller in the development of annual budget and forecasts
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
• Support accounting team as needed and backup for other account functions – AP/AR
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to tightly manage processes and meet deadlines
• Advanced skills in ERP, Microsoft Excel and Power point presentations
* Knowledge of Sage Intacct is highly desired and preferred.
