Finance Director - Satellite Industries - Now Hiring

• Assist external accounting partners with global tax compliance and filings.
• Global treasury management.
• Lead transfer price compliance.
• Assist in M&A work and startups.
• Assist with the development of financial plans and budgeting.
• Ensure adoption of best practice ideas are shared among all regions, including the corporate office.
• Prepare Ad hoc reports as requested by Senior Managers.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting and financial information in accordance with US GAAP and GAAP equivalents at the local level.
• Align with FP&A to ensure proper expectations to compare actual results to forecast.
• Ensure financial covenant compliance with the bank.
• Ensure foreign exchange translations are accounted for properly and manage hedging programs/policy.
• Streamline and automate treasury management processes/functions.
• Manage and forecast for business units and corporate.
• Perform internal audits and analytical reviews of monthly domestic and foreign subsidiaries.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for regulatory compliance and business activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation/integration and streamlining of accounting processes globally.
• Conduct financial analysis and trending for business units to develop an ongoing financial forecast.
• Participate in various projects, as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 7+ years prior work experience in accounting required
• 5+ years with direct staff management experience required
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate leadership position required
• 2+ years of experience with multicurrency P&L and consolidations required.
• Experience presenting financial data and reports to senior management.
• Experience in an Accounting leadership role with a manufacturing company preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP & IFRS.

• Demonstrated analytical skills (specifically in identifying flow of transactions)
• Ability to identify priorities to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior computer and technical skills Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Sage X3 proficiency a plus
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
• Collaboration amongst interdepartmental teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, not requiring daily supervision
