Quality Assurance-Product Release

Vaxxinova US is seeking a Quality Assurance – Release Associate to join our Regulatory team in Willmar, MN.

About the role:

The Quality Assurance-Product Release is a position responsible for providing the link between Quality Control and Quality Assurance. This role will report to Quality Assurance and Regulatory but have ample interactions with Quality Control. This role is responsible for review of QC testing documents, USDA and internal retention sample organization and submission, testing summary creation for all intermediate and final products including 2008 preparation for serial release.

Main responsibilities:

• Review QC testing documentation. Work closely with QC technicians and management to resolve errors or omissions and ensure incidents and deviations are documented appropriately.
• Prepare testing specification summaries for all intermediate products tested in the QC lab.
• Obtain and organize internal and USDA final product retention samples as well as raw material retention samples.
• Submit final product samples to USDA.
• Prepare test reports and 2008 submission through the NCAH portal for all final product serials.
• Work with QA to ensure all required testing results are summarized and included in the manufacturing documentation for each intermediate and final product prior to release by QA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Basic microbiology principles
• Basic math skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe
• Excellent organizational skill
• Ability to maintain consistent and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal & written instructions in English
• Adapt and react positively to changes in daily routine
• Associates degree or higher required
• Relevant experience preferred in a laboratory or quality related role, highly preferred
