We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our client’s dedicated team. As a Social Worker in their organization, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate mental health support to individuals.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide mental health assessment, intervention, and support to individuals in distress.
* Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status, safety, and risk factors to determine appropriate interventions and level of care required.
* Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
* Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines, always maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
* Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive support for clients.
* Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC license required.
* CASAC preferred.
* Some knowldge of working with the substance abuse population.
* Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, crisis assessment, and evidence-based intervention techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport quickly and build trust with individuals in crisis.
* Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
