JOB DUTIES:

Level I

§  Gain a full understanding of the RIPEs and Drug and Alcohol Testing Systems, as well as the regulations surrounding those areas and the core components of our service offering will be expected.

§  Manage the Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Program for assigned Clients.

Ø  Pull, review and forward drug and alcohol test results to clients.

Ø  Work with HireRight to get errors found corrected.

Ø  Upload result into DQ System, ensuring all information is entered accurately.

Ø  Notify clients of next steps for positive results.

§  Utilize the RIPE Module and Workflow/DQ System for assigned Clients:

Ø  Verify proper releases are received and on file for all requests.

Ø  Initiate requests for information to both clients and previous employers.

Ø  Utilize advanced research skills to locate previous employer’s information and contact them for the verifications.

Ø  Track status of verifications to ensure turnaround time is met in all cases.

Ø  Upload responses received from previous employers ensuring all information is keyed into the system accurately.

Ø  Process “paid service” verifications daily, ensuring accounting is notified of invoicing requirements.

§  Serve as back-up to other SSI Department Technicians.

§  Notify Supervisor if you will be unable to meet deadlines for any assigned clients in a timely manner so assistance can be found and commitments met.

§  Work on special projects as required.

§  Maintains a secure environment by ensuring that all Physical Security policies are observed for their workspace.

§  Other duties as required.

Level II

§  Manage the Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Program for assigned Clients.

Ø  Create/Update client clinic network.

Ø  Establish and update client random selection pools for D&A Testing only clients.

Ø  Request Chain of Custody Forms (CCF) for clients as needed.

Ø  Check and ensure the system performed client notification of random selections (monthly/quarterly) is correct.

Ø  Monitor random testing of LTS Consortium and Individual Pools to ensure testing is conducted and required testing levels are met.

Ø  Notify supervisor and CSR if issues arise and client needs to be removed from pool.

§  Create and distribute annual MIS reports.

§  Serve as technical support and provide assistance to DQ Technicians and other departments in answering questions, researching data and resolving issues.

 

 

 

 

Level III

§  Update and maintain Processing Notes relating to each assigned client.

§  Maintain a working knowledge of federal regulations regarding Medical, Drug and Alcohol, and RIPEs.

§  Processing Return-to-Duty paperwork and associated random testing requirements.

§  Processing notifications of no response via the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Data Queue’s program as required.

§  Must be comfortable in having client contact via phone and email.

§  Conducting testing on enhancements implemented as requested.

§  Assist with training of new technicians on the Driver Qualification Systems, internal processes, and federal regulations.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

§   Sound written/verbal communication and organizational skills.

§   Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and to multi-task.

§   Must be proactive, with an eye for detail and ability to bring creative solutions.

§   Exceptional time management/prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

§   High proficiency in Word, Excel and General Computer Skills.

§   Ability to learn different computer software with ease and willingness to learn several different computer systems.

§   High energy, approachable disposition, positive attitude, team oriented, flexible, and efficient.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

§   High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree preferred.

§   1+ years office experience.

§   Knowledge of the Transportation Industry and Regulations a plus.

§   Ability to type 40+ wpm.
