CNC Machinist

• CNC Setup Technicians (programming preferred)

Salary: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate diverse CNC machines to manufacture steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, or plastic components that meet company standards
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specs, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors, such as speed, feed, flow, and depth/angle of cut
• Capable of performing tool changes and adjustments as needed
• Programming skills (preferred but willing to train)
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance on machines as outlined in preventative maintenance procedures
• Maintain clean and orderly work stations by their assigned machines

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Experience operating and/or setting up a CNC Machine (1-3 years preferred)
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to use precise measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measure)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Attention to detail

• Brookfield, WI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• CNC Setup: 2 years (Preferred)
• Machining: 3 years (Required)
• Programming: 1 year (Preferred)
