CNC Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

CNC Operator 3rd Shift $18-$24 per hour.

We are looking for an individual who can join our team with positive energy and a dedication to providing our customers with the right product at the right time. Working with the latest Okuma Mills and Lathes, you will be responsible for operating the machines, perform quality checks all while maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities

· Maintain product flow in and out of the machine limiting open door machine time.

· Perform quality checks using fixtures, calipers, and other measuring equipment.

· Update work package with quantities and quality checks.

· Review daily logs to assure production goals are being met

· Maintain a safe and clean environment to eliminate foreign object debris (FOD) and other hazards

· Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operators, and Expeditors to assure a productive environment.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of CNC operations of 3,4 5 axis machines & lathes. Okuma background is a plus

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Use of measuring devices (Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges …)

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and instructional reasons. Spanish a plus.

· Dependable and reliable

· Stand for long periods of time.
