Are you a Transportation-focused Project Engineer who is interested in Alternative Delivery/Design-Build? If this area of expertise excites you, we'd love to start a conversation.

As an Alternative Delivery Project Engineer, you will become part of a dedicated team that provides technical and production support in the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs), geometric design, and plans production for major Alternative Delivery (Design-Build) projects and pursuits.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
  • Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and Temporary Traffic Control details.
  • Creation of engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.
  • Assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers with roadway design task production and maintaining project documentation.
  • Perform MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open Roads processes using 3D modeling.
  • Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
  • 0-4+ years of transportation roadway design experience
  • Registration as an EI or Professional Engineer with the State of Florida
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and/or Open Roads
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on limited access projects
  • Experience working on alternative delivery projects
  • Experience with 3D corridor modeling
