Showroom Design Salesperson

The Shell Lumber Signature Store is a bath and lighting retail store in Coconut Grove. 

We are seeking a Showroom Design Salesperson to specify home lighting and plumbing fixtures for homeowners and trade clients in Miami. This is a sales-based position that relies heavily on design-influence with the opportunity to work with both home owners, interior designers, and members of the trade community. 

This sales position has a competitive base wage plus an open-ended commission and bonus structure. The salary is negotiable, and since there is a commission component, the salary range may vary depending upon the performance and success of the salesperson.

Job Description

• The Showroom Design Salesperson is responsible for assisting homeowners, designers, and contractors in specifying and selecting faucets, toilets, shower systems, bathtubs, and lighting for renovation projects and new homes.
• The candidate should have a demonstrated history of luxury retail sales, which includes specifying custom finishes and designs.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a high-traffic store consisting of both home owners and trade clients.
• Buy and sell store items as well as special order items.
• The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury showroom sales, home design, and home remodeling projects. 
• The ideal candidate will have prior retail experience with sales of interior décor & home products including high-end lighting, plumbing and bath fixtures.
