MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Reverse unit Operator works as part of a team to ensure all daily operational activities are performed in accordance with our policies and procedures, as well as to ensure the safety of our people and service delivery to our customers. The primary duty of the Reverse Unit Operator is to oversee the completion of the task at hand and running of revere unit equipment, manage crew members, maintain productivity standards, and work closely with customer representatives to provide safe, dependable, and quality service.   • Possess the ability to make safe and appropriate decisions necessary to encompass all aspects of the reverse unit operation in a stand-alone capacity at the well site.
  • Instructs field crew of rig-in specifications; may assist in rigging operations as needed.
  • Identify the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the services.
  • The reverse operator will partner with district managers and company representatives to plan the job logistics.
  • Operates the reverse unit, swivel, and other equipment in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions as requested or designated by the customers.
  • Operate the reverse unit and downhole services from assessment to completion, including timely delivery of the equipment and tools to the job site.
  • Possess the ability to use simple mathematical calculations to make job-related calculations.
  • Ensures field members arrive on time and that the correct equipment/materials are ready for the job.Conducts pre-job operating procedures and safety meetings with the field crew and reviews with the customer prior to starting the job.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues; develops contingency plans; guides lower-level supervisors on resolving routine and non-routine operating problems.
  • Builds customer relations and provides superior customer service and technical support to clients.
  • Follows up with external and internal customers to ensure the job was executed to expectations.
  • Provides a strong leadership presence at the job site and in the district office; mentors and trains field crew members at all levels; and creates a team environment.
  • Ensures that all field personnel paperwork (fuel reports, logbooks, job tickets, post-job treatment reports, Transport of Dangerous Goods reports, quarterly inspection reports, etc.) is completely and accurately completed, audited, and approved.
  • Reports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries immediately.
  • Supports our Short Service Employee Program and ensures training is complete for all new hires.
  • Facilitates and develops work Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and develops hazard assessments with crews prior to the job.
  • Attends and facilitates weekly Safety Meetings.
  • All other duties assigned.
Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of oilfield service experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Possess 3+ years of pump down, reverse unit operation experience in oilfield services, with working knowledge of workover rigs and downhole experience.
  • Expert knowledge of duplex and triplex pumps, hydraulic power swivels, and downhole fishing tools, with the ability to perform maintenance on the equipment safely and professionally.
  • Demonstration of competence in pumps and pumping equipment

WORKING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as part of a team.
  • Willing and able to continuously increase knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Able to work flexible schedules and overtime as required.
  • Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and conditions.
  • Must provide proof of right to work in the United States, have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check and participate in regular random screening.
