The Carmichael Elks is a non-profit fraternal organization with an active membership and outside rental facility. The Lodge Secretary clerk position is a part time position with as little as 2 hoours to no more than 6 a day, 20 - 30 hours per week. Pay is $18 an hour.
The Carmichael Elks clerk shall work with the Lodge Secretary in receiving, counting, and recording all monies turned in from events at the Lodge. The clerk will be required to work with the bookkeeper and treasurer. Must have cashier experience and computer skills is a plus. Duties include receiving and counting money, making banks for upcoming events, filing, and will cross train for working the front office with answering phones, working the front desk selling tickets to Lodge Members.
Must pass background check.
