Job Description:
A local company is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as experience in carpentry, light plumbing, and light electrical work. This position is an evaluation to hire and offers long-term potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities
- Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Assist with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- General knowledge of hand and power tools
