Licensing Specialist

The Compliance & Licensing Specialist is primarily responsible for performing the day-to-day processes required to keep title, registration and occupational licenses accurate, current and up-to-date to prevent any business interruption. 

Job Description:

  • Prepares and submits required documentation for renewal of dealer and manufacturer licenses.
  • Prepares and submits required documentation for new dealer and manufacturer licenses is support of branch expansion and/or relocation.
  • Assists and supports salespersons in the renewal of required salespersons licenses.
  • Assists and supports required qualifiers in meeting state educational requirements and prepares and submits paperwork to update the qualifiers to occupational licenses where required.
  • Prepares and submits title applications and annual registration renewals in titled states.
  • Assists in maintaining procedures manual; updates as required with changes in process.
  • Assists with training of team members to ensure peers attain full proficiency in all processes.
  • Respond to branch and customer inquiries.
  • Assists with retitling of acquired assets and modification of occupational licenses resulting from mergers and acquisitions.
  • Contacts state agencies for updated policies and update internal procedure sheets as needed.
