Buick GMC South is HIRING NOW for a Parts Counter Person to assist retail customers in purchasing parts, obtain parts for repair technicians, stock parts into inventory, and more!

Previous Auto Parts Retail experience is preferred, but we will train motivated candidates with an automotive background! Those with previous Service or Parts Department experience in Auto, RV, Powersport, or Marine Dealerships settings are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities - Parts Counter Person: 

• Assist customers in purchasing parts and accessories
• Look up the correct parts and pricing for retail customers as well as service technicians
• Pick up and deliver parts as necessary
• Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the parts counter
• Utilize the phone and internet to source the best prices for parts
• Display seasonal parts and accessories in an attractive manner
• Maintain orderly files, reference books, and other paperwork
• Maintain clean, orderly stock room and workspace

Qualifications/Requirements - Parts Counter Person: 

• Previous Automotive Retail experience preferred
• Dealership experience is a plus!
• Service or Parts Department experience in Auto, RV, Powersport, or Marine Dealerships settings are encouraged to apply!
• Must have good organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good customer service skills
• The ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Must be a dependable, friendly 'people person' with a positive attitude
• Professional appearance
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
