Staffmark is assisting a client in Temecula, CA, in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity with a successful employer known for providing a great work environment.


Pay rate: $22 per hour


1st Shift Available


The Accounts Payable Clerk's responsibilities include matching purchase orders to invoices and inputting them into QuickBooks, reconciling processed work, charging expenses to appropriate accounts, paying vendors by ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies, paying employees based on verified expense reports, and reconciling vendor accounts by reviewing monthly statements and updating data. Additionally, the clerk is tasked with accurate document preparation, maintaining records, reviewing invoices for approval, assisting with financial statement preparation, providing support during audits, maintaining confidentiality, staying updated on job knowledge through educational opportunities, and handling ongoing projects and accounting duties as required.


Preferred qualifications:

    • 1-3+ years of accounts payable experience
    • 1+ years of QuickBooks knowledge
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
    • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent data entry and analytical skills
    • Effective communication and time management
    • Ability to work independently or in a team
    • Long hours sitting, occasional standing
    • Concentration on financial information
    • Handling objects and occasional lifting
