Production Lead

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Production Lead for one of our client's in the Everett area. The production lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient production operations within our facility. They are responsible for leading and supporting a team of employees to ensure the timely completion of production units while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes. Pay starts from $21 - $26 per hour! 

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, instruction, and supervision to employees involved in the preparation of production units.
• Foster a culture of cooperation and positive communication among team members.
• Oversee day-to-day functions of assigned department/work area, offering guidance and direction as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and requirements at all times.
• Manage time effectively to meet customer agreement deadlines.
• Train and support employees who require assistance, including interpreting engineering drawings and using measuring equipment.
• Conduct self-inspections of personal work to identify and rectify discrepancies promptly.
• Instruct employees on the proper usage of various pneumatic and hand tools.
• Utilize work orders effectively to prioritize tasks and track progress.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as necessary.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and conducting effective meetings.
• Stay updated on current training requirements and ensure team members meet or exceed them.
• Assist in other areas of the company as directed by the manager.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Experience in conducting effective meetings and writing reports.
• Flexibility to assist in various areas of the company as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
