Lumber Yard Associate - Full-time

Oneida Lumber Ace Hardware a lumber and building materials company, is seeking a Lumber Yard Associate.

The qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities including operating a forklift to move product and material throughout the yard and providing customer service to Oneida Lumber customers.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Yard associates are responsible for providing customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and waiting on customers.
Completes and routes paperwork appropriately building loads for delivery and assisting customers with locating indicated products.
Knowledge of company products/inventory available at work location.
Loading materials into customers vehicles or onto company delivery vehicles, after validating type and quantity based on the loading documents.
Developing thorough expertise related to operation of the forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment utilized for product movement.
Unloading incoming freight, Identifying product shortages and out-of-stocks and reporting to store management.
Maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard
