Parts Cleaner

Parts Cleaner - 1st Shift - ASheville - $17.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for Parts Cleaner for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Asheville.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team player!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean parts in accordance to Operating Instructions
• Ability to work around/with degreaser
• Utilize required safety equipment (PPE) (Gloves & Splash Shield)
• Observe all applicable safety requirements, following all safety procedures and reporting any unsafe practices immediately.
• Use dip tanks for soaking parts, rinse parts, and dip tank for agitated rinse.
• Use furnace for fast drying of parts
• Maintain/test degreaser for proper pH levels daily as required, drain & change in accordance to procedure.
• Maintain clean environment and equipment as required/needed
• Visually verify parts are clean and free of FOD (foreign object debris)
• Perform other production duties during downtimes as assigned i.e., utilizing chop saws, belt sanders, and rollers to help in processing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience is desired
• Basic math skills required
• Strong attention to detail

Hours of Work:  1st Shift - M-Th - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm & F - 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
