Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Imaging:
Perform routine and advanced C-Arm procedures independently. Screen patients before exams, explaining and preparing them for procedures. Adjust equipment as necessary, maintaining a positive attitude. Follow physicians' orders precisely, ensuring safety regulations are adhered to. Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintain a clean work area and equipment in good working order.
Imaging Support:
Assist in maintaining radiographic protocol manuals and software upgrades. Monitor medical supply inventory. Assist in training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
Other Duties:
Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements
Competencies Required (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Current technical skills to perform a full range of radiologic scanning procedures. Adherence to ALARA principles and company policies. Organizational and prioritization skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to deliver high-quality customer service. Ability to recognize potential abnormalities and communicate with the radiologist. Ability to remain calm in difficult situations. Ability to handle service recovery issues effectively.
Summary of Qualifications
Required:
ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing. Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state (if applicable). Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently.
