Kitchen Assistant - Cannabis Company

The Kitchen Assistant will be required to assist in the kitchen with dishwashing, cleaning, food preparation, and other duties as required. Work thoroughly through procedures to ensure company food safety standards and procedures are adhered to.

- Following policies and procedures with regard to food storage, handling, preparation and cooking.
- Performing cooking and kitchen cleaning duties as required.
- Ability to operate industrial dishwashers and other equipment that pertains to kitchen duties.
- Ensure kitchen area is well stocked with departmental consumables.
- Meet standards of production processes and cleaning consistently.
- Assisting with ingredient preparation and WIP products.
- General cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen and dishwash rooms including but not limited to floors, walls, benches and equipment.
- Package products from kitchen department.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Genuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry.
- An understanding of food safety and cross contamination principle. Successful completion of ServSafe course.
- Ability to lift over 40 lbs.
