We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer Supervisor to lead and mentor our team of Project Engineers in the best practices of project management. As a Project Engineer Supervisor, your primary focus will be guiding the planning and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring successful outcomes in line with organizational goals, while also playing a crucial role in mentoring and developing the skills of our engineers.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support a team of 6 Project Engineers, each handling 10-12 projects annually.
  • Provide guidance on projects related to cost reductions, process optimization, new products, and large-scale continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarize yourself with assembly line layouts and process flows to make informed decisions.
  • Utilize lean six sigma methodology and organizational tools for effective planning and decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to implement them into company projects for a competitive edge.
  • Ensure projects are well-planned, executed, and completed successfully within established timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance, without directly engaging in the detailed project work.
  • Understand all documentation for budget submission and approval.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing projects, preferably in manufacturing or renewable energy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mentoring and developing new engineers.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with extensive experience using Project and Visio.
  • Must be willing to work during night shift
