PM Prep Cook Job Duties and Expectations

The Commissary Kitchen prepares almost all the pizza and salad ingredients used at the Ian's Pizza restaurants in Madison and Milwaukee. You will prepare sauces, dressings, and meats according to our recipes, and wash and chop fresh vegetables. You will package, label, and date the products following the necessary guidelines. You'll also have to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked. It's busy work, and it can be repetitive. But you'll have a fantastic team, and they make the job fun!

PM Prep Cook Job Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to bend, crouch, and lift to 20-50 lbs.
• Able to use knives, pots, pans, grills, and other industry cooking equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and provide adequate identification documentation at Day One. For more information, you can visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-9.

PM Prep Cook Scheduling

9-5 is a Dolly Parton song, not a job at the Commissary Kitchen! We're open Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 6am-10pm and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6am-2pm. We're looking for someone who can work the second shift on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12pm or 2pm until 10pm. Additionally, Saturday morning availability from 6am-2pm is a bonus.

Whether you are just looking for 1-2 shifts a week for a little extra spending money or a new full-time job, we are here for you! Part-time or full-time hours are available.

If you rely on public transportation, this will affect your availability. Most bus schedules will not allow for a 6am start time, so 7am or 8am is the earliest most people can start that rely on the bus. Please know your commute before applying!
