As a Tax Associate you will be responsible for performing a large amount of technical work to develop valuable skills while working in the role. The Tax Associate participates in tax planning, tax return preparation, review for individuals and businesses of all types and sizes including tangibles, 1040, 1065 and 1120 forms.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax preparation, planning and tax advisory services to a wide range of business types and industries.
  • Oversee and support multiple engagements and teams concurrently.
  • Manage compliance deadlines and ensure that all milestones are outlined, and deadlines are met.
  • Complete tax-related research and special projects.
  • Assist in the supervising, developing, and coaching of professional tax staff.
  • Participate in the management and development of client relationships.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other relevant field.
  • Previous experience with at least 3 to 7 years preferred.
  • CPA license or on track to obtain a CPA license is a must.  
  • Experience with CCH ProSystemFX Tax and Engagement is a plus.
  • Keen attention to detail and superior time management skills.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a team atmosphere.
  • Capacity to learn and desire to grow their accounting career.
  • Requires minimal supervision to complete high quality work.

We have a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 work from home days, of your choice with the exception of Wednesdays. Our team is together every Wednesday for firm meetings, events and team connectedness. We will consider a fully remote role for the ideal candidate.
