CNC Mill/ Lathe Machinist... Pay up to $35.00hr - Now Hiring

Hiring CNC Mill/ Lathe Machinist for manufacturing companies in Santa Clarita, CA and Sylmar, CA.

Pay:$20-$35hr (Depending on your experience)

Shift: First and Second shifts available.

Key Responsibilities

• Must have at least 2 years hands on recent experience
• Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to the required specifications and quality standards.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices.
• Perform tool changes and offsets as needed to maintain precision.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or maintain optimal performance
• Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including setup sheets and tooling information.
• Document any deviations from specifications and report them to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling tools and machine controls.
