The Challenge

Our goal at OneTrust is to bring the power of trust to companies all over the world. Using cutting-edge technology and a real-world approach to ethics, compliance, privacy, security, and third-party risk, we've created a no-nonsense platform to help supercharge the global push for trust. We're looking to hire a contracts specialist to provide transactional support on partner and supplier contracts. The successful candidate will be part of the OneTrust Legal Team, operating within the group that supports the OneTrust ecosystem and strategic sourcing business teams.

Your Mission
  • Negotiate high volume supplier contracting through the contract lifecycle to execution, including software licensing, consulting, events and nondisclosure agreements
  • Handle ad-hoc legal requests for support from OneTrust Partner Managers
  • Understand key IP, commercial, and finance requirements
  • Keep up-to-date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Drive compliance in day-to-day procurement-related activities, including providing training
  • Support updates to legal team templates & precedents
  • Assist with wider company projects on an as-needed basis
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, support services, and nondisclosure agreements

  • An excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Well organized with an attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Ability to constructively collaborate with others
Your Experience Includes
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of commercial contracts experience, preferably in an in-house software or technology company, including familiarity with licenses and contracts for software and related services
Extra Awesome
  • Ironclad (our CLM platform) experience
  • Knowledge of US and/or EU privacy/security laws
  • Familiarity with patent and trademark basics

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range
$86,250—$129,375 USD
