  • Serving as the Drone Remote Pilot Operator for the Agronomy Division to custom apply EverGRO's crop protectants/products to customer properties
  • Learning & adapting to improve efficiencies & custom application operations with drone technology and software
  • Assisting Agronomy Division with daily activities related to custom application, including reporting, data management, customer support, vendor management, etc.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

This position will be tasked with the following key objectives:

  • Represent the Cooperative in a positive and customer-focused manner
  • Maintain regular communication with Applicator team to ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching. Provide updates on equipment condition, supply of materials, productivity, and other critical factors
  • Support Division Director with vendor contracts, ordering, and other tasks
  • Use data mining to extract information from software/equipment platforms to identify correlations & patterns to propose ways to improve efficiencies

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

  • A high school diploma/GED equivalent
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Able and willing to obtain the following certifications/licenses:
    • Remote Drone Pilot Certification
      • Part 107 Drone License
      • Part 137 AG Exemption
    • VDACS Registered Technician Certification
    • Virginia Category 11 - Aerial Application
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
  • Preferred two-year degree or higher in an Agriculture related field of study
  • Dedication to safety and compliance
