SUMMARY
Candidate is responsible for training and supervising Cage Services Representatives. Candidate will assure good customer relations are maintained by all personnel. Candidate is responsible for enforcing policy and procedures, and ensuring internal controls are being followed in assigned area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate will supervise jackpot payouts and related tax forms, table fills and credits, slot counter check issuance, sports wagering transactions, posting and payments on all counter checks, deposits and withdrawals. Candidate will monitor cash levels in all Cage locations including the main bank and employee bank.
• Candidate will supervise large payouts by Cage Services Reps.
• Candidate will make recommendations for changes to policies and procedures in order to improve efficiencies.
• Candidate will document attendance and variances, review employee files and prepare corrective action documentation.
• Candidate will complete daily cash accountability logs, give performance feedback and employee disciplinary actions.
• Candidate will be responsible for charting attendance, issuing corrective actions and approval of weekly schedules and vacations.
• Candidate will prepare funds transfers, ensure that accurate paperwork is completed for all functions of the position including end of shift balancing of cashier windows, main bank and employee bank..
• Candidate will receive chip inventory and be responsible for movement of gaming chips between storage locations.
• Ensures compliance with AML.
• Candidate will issue manual counter checks for table games and slots if the computer system is off line.
• Candidate will ensure preventative maintenance is performed on equipment in the Cage.
• Candidate will maintain confidentiality of all casino operations data.
• Candidate is responsible for informing Cage management of all incidents or disputes related to patrons, employees and inter-departmental issues.
• Candidate will be responsible for processing credit applications, running credit reports, bank reports and gaming reports.
• Candidate will supervise all point adjustments and resolve customer issues.
• Candidate will provide Cage staff with marketing information. Candidate will supervise or adjust points in the Oasis system for birthdays, voucher returns, mistakes, and run time errors.
• May issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
• Candidate must provide training support of kiosk functions and promotions.
• Candidate will supervise the enrollment of new members in the Players Club and answers account questions. Must have a thorough knowledge of the points system.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. One year of supervisory/management experience required in banking, cash handling or equivalent casino experience. Knowledge and ability to evaluate internal controls a must.

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to ensure proper payouts are being paid out correctly. Ability to compute tax rate for jackpot payouts.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with employee and guest issues. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Must possess intermediate PC skills, spreadsheets, internet and e-mail. Microsoft Office experience required and be able to learn new software as needed for operations.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the above duties, candidate must be able to effectively guide, train, communicate and performance manage subordinates when necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is moderate. Candidate will be exposed to smoke when on the casino floor and in the cage. Candidate must be able to work all shifts in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee will be required to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time. Candidate must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Employee must have excellent dexterity of hands and fingers to use computers and handle vouchers, cash and chips. Employee is required to lift and carry up to 40lbs independently and more than 40lbs with assistance. Employee must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication. This job requires strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
