Summary: 

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and question.
  • Maintains PolicyPlus reports and the management of follow-up and data entry.
  • Assist with reporting requirements i.e., surveys, employee reports, EEOC.
  • Performs ADP functions in reports, data entry, schedules, and timeclocks.
  • Performs monthly OIG checks.
  • Maintaining staff and provider directory for the entire organization.
  • Tracks training records for staff meetings and other organizational meetings.
  • Reconciles the insurance breakdowns/benefits statements.
  • Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process for assigned positions.
  • Assists with creation and review of credentialing files. 
  • Coordinate with providers and leadership to obtain required documentation, training, and records.
  • Makes photocopies, scanning, faxes, documents, and performs other clerical functions.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all active and term HR and medical files.
  • Conducts routine filing, organizing, and auditing all files to ensure accuracy.
  • Assists or prepares orientation materials and other correspondence.
  • Serves as company historian.
  • Serves as a back-up for other HR staff members i.e., covering the front area and orientation. 
  • Assists HR department with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or must be currently enrolled in final semester for degree or 3 to 5 years’ experience in healthcare,  administration or comparable field
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly Word and Excel
