We are looking seeking Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurses to care for our patients within a group home setting. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care to patients who may be on a ventilator and require trach care. Compassionate about nursing and the making real difference in patient care is a must. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

ESSESNTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Submit regular patient care progress reports to attending physician and clinical staff.
• Consult & develop treatment plans based on physician's orders and initial patient assessment.
• Provide nursing care and written care plans.
• Participate in and monitor patient and family care compliance activities.
• Professionally manage and coordinate the plan of care
• Complete clinical and medical documentation on all patients.
• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs, to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret the patient’s symptoms and communicate them to the physicians
• Should have experience with the following: IV experience, pediatrics/young adults, Trachs, G-Tubes, wound care, vent experience preferable, strong clinical experience,
• Must have critical thinking skills, strong clinical background
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
• Foster, a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of Associate degree/diploma (or higher) in Nursing.
• Current and unrestricted Florida RN/LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year RN or LPN experience in an institutional setting.

(Acute Care/ Rehab / Hospital /Home Health /Hospice)

• Excellent working knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be dependable, reliable, responsible, patient, and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
