What you will be doing:
  • Communicate and collaborate with local, regional, and international vendors and suppliers, particularly within the Asian demographic, in a bilingual environment.
  • Apply GAAP principles to all financial tasks.
  • Process duties related to AP/AR functions, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and vendor invoice processing.
  • Record transactions accurately and timely, posting to the general ledger.
  • Reconcile subsidiary accounts and credit card transactions with the general ledger.
  • Identify and escalate any unaddressed tasks or client requests to the Manager.
  • Complete assigned tasks within targeted timeframes.
  • Generate custom financial reports regularly and upon request.
  • Familiarize oneself with company best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist Finance Manager with financial audits and routine duties as required.
  • Collaborate effectively, solve problems efficiently, and navigate complexity in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Background Profile:

  • Proven experience in accounting roles, with a comprehensive understanding of AP/AR functions, general ledger management, and GAAP principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vendors and suppliers, particularly within the Asian demographic, in a bilingual environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to adapt easily to new software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Flexibility to assist with financial audits and other routine duties as required by the Finance Manager.
  • Commitment to upholding company policies, procedures, and best practices.
