Job Description
We are looking for a Field Service Manager for our client in Pompano Beach! You will play a crucial role in overseeing the servicing, installation, and maintenance of commercial HVAC, cooking equipment, and refrigeration systems for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee field service technicians; scheduling and prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Lead the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial HVAC, cooking equipment, and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety and quality standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer issues and queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle technician training and development, ensuring that they are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and technologies.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams to develop service contracts, estimate jobs, and develop proposals.
- Manage parts inventory and control expenses within the allotted budget.
- Monitor job progress and supervise job site safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing field service teams.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC, cooking equipment, and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong technical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Certifications related to HVAC, commercial cooking equipment, and refrigeration maintenance would be a plus.
