Sewing Machine Ops

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent Drapery manufacturer in the Marietta area and is seeking Industrial Sewing Machine Operators

Industrial Sewing Machine Operators

- Operate Industrial sewing machines and other tools to sew and assemble drapes, curtains, swags, etc.
- Read and interpret diagrams
-Measure, cut, and mark fabric according to the pattern or design specifications
- Sew fabrics together using various stitching techniques such as straight stitch, zigzag stitch, or serge stitch
- Make alterations or repairs to curtains
- Inspect finished pieces for flaws to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role/ During interview we will put you on a machine to see skill set
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines.

- Proficient in sewing techniques
- Familiarity with operating a industrial sewing machines and other tools
- Ability to create final product according to patterns or design specifications
