About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking candidates for a Medical Office Care Assistant opening in Shelby, NC!
This full-time, long-term opportunity can lead to permanent hire.
Working hours: Mon-Thurs.: 8:30-5 pm; Fridays: 8:30-2:15 pm. Pay is $15.00/HR.
Responsibilities Include
- Ensures supplies are available in exam rooms and lab daily.
- Shuts down equipment in treatment rooms at the end of the day
- Tracks orders to ensure timely arrival of equipment for appointments.
- Assists with checking in hearing aid orders, repairs, and ear molds.
- Follow mandated sanitation and cleaning protocols
- Provide backup support for front office duties as needed.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Preferably one year of experience in an office or medical setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple duties within deadlines.
- Ability to interact with patients in a caring and respectful manner
- Completion of hearing care assistant training requirement and competency-based skills
