Data Entry Clerk

We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for gathering and entering information into Excel and other programs ensuring accuracy at all times.

• Ensures accurate data entry
• Able to provide excellent customer service
• Adept in corresponding in a professional manner both by telephone and email
• Attention to detail in repetitive work – e.g. checking websites for delivery orders
• Able to prioritize work load with strong organizational skills
• Assisting others in department when needed
• Willing to learn
• Answer phone calls and direct to the appropriate individual
• Complete interoffice mail run on a rotating basis
• Must maintain a positive outlook and be a team player
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of Excel
• Data Entry accuracy of 100%
• Must be able to type 50-60 words per minute
• One year previous customer service experience required
• Previous experience in the Transportation industry preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of local Ports or familiarity with imports and exports a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Meticulous, hardworking, and detail oriented
