Foreman - $20+/hr

Custom Manufacturing Shop in Rittman looking for a manufacturing hands-on team player

 

 

Pay rate:  $20.00 - $27.00 depending on experience

Full time hourly position with a typical work schedule of 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday with periodic OT as needed.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Background in manufacturing/construction or similar industries and operation of CNC machining centers.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in AutoCAD is helpful, but not required.
• Duties include set-ups, scheduling, and supervision.
• Produce displays in a variety of materials (Wood, plastic, Metal) using various mfg. processes.
• Oversee daily operations of factory.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensures that all deadlines are met
• Conduct quality control checks of internally produced and outsourced vendor components.
• Assist with development and building of prototypes.
• Set up assembly and pack lines.
• Create production fixtures/jigs.
• Perform preventive and break-down maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with creating labor and material cost estimates.
• Develop custom packaging in conjunction with carton vendors.

Education and Experiences:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in manufacturing/construction or similar industry
• Woodworking experience (beneficial but not required)
• Experience with AutoCAD (beneficial but not required)
