The Assistant Controller is responsible for supporting the overall financial administration of the facility, including general accounting, data processing and financial reporting in accordance with all facility and corporate policies and procedures.  The Assistant Controller must possess an understanding of the inner-workings of the business to identify trends and partners with Facility leaders and other corporate leaders to mitigate negative trends.  Assistant Controller assists in ensuring internal controls are adequate to safeguard facility assets and that accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reports.


Qualifications

Education:   Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field required

Experience:  Previous experience in healthcare overall financial operations/controls required. Experience in payroll preferred.  Knowledge of in-patient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital finance preferred

License: Valid driver’s license preferred. CPA licensure preferred

Additional Requirements:  May be required to work flexible hours
