About this job

Provide clinical pharmacist services at Lourdes Medical Center, Lourdes Counseling Center and Trios Southridge Hospital. Utilize computerized resources to ensure safe and effective drug utilization. Collaborate with other clinicians, such as nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals on a daily basis.  Verify orders and writes orders based on established protocols. Provide consultation and patient education. Coordinate and closely review activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations in accordance with federal and state regulations and hospital policies and procedures. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and reverence for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

EDUCATION

 

  1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
  2. Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served in Pharmacy
  3. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred, new graduates welcome. Keyboarding skills preferred.
  4. Required License: Must have/obtain a current Washington State Pharmacist License or license eligible. Current Certified Washington Pharmacy preceptor or certification eligible preferred.
  5. Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
