Full Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a School Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract position within a school district in Richmond, Vi. We are conducting interviews for this school-based role, requiring strict adherence to local and state regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with special education students and families.

Requirements: Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Compliance with all local and state regulations for School Occupational Therapists
• Highly preferred experience working alongside special education students and collaborating closely with families

Job Duties: As a School Occupational Therapist, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to enhance students' abilities to participate in educational activities
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into students' educational plans
• Providing direct therapy services and interventions to address students' needs
• Evaluating and documenting students' progress and adjusting therapy plans as necessary
